life undressed

the figure drawing class has gotten more fun. Combined with work,
though, I realize I spend a lot of time looking at nudes. At work,
they are "patients" who in the wisdom of inebriation have chosen to
rid themselves of restricting hospital gowns and lie peacefully down
on the floor by my desk. The other night I had to shake my head. It's
such a waste, these dramatic poses on the floor that go undrawn,
unphotographed. Ethics prevents it. But, trust me, they are
unparalleled... Quite contorted, in fact.
