spring, day 3

Really good day:

•E&J finally got what they've been working on for years... seriously awesome.
•IR talked me into the NJ Marathon. holy crap. now I know what to do with my free time.
•Kuru (the bike) is fully functional and back on the road.
•Even though there were no seats at Crouton Cafe, people were super nice and offered me space on the couch without me even having to ask or hover over them in a passive-aggressive manner.
•Came face to face with a huge hawk (falcon?) in Ctrl Park. We were nose to beak but he didn't give a crap. I think if things had gotten scrappy, he'd have taken me.
•Northern Ctrl Park doesn't care that it's only the 3rd day of Spring. It's putting out the flowers now. Lots of crocus.
•Where the heck was my camera?
•Drank wine and watched Into The Wild. Want to go camping now. Will bring lots of extra food.
•Revised the crappy lino-block that made me lose interest in carving. Back on track.
•Connected with a lot of old friends.
•Dreamed about birds.
