eating like it matters

Unfortunately, I've slacked off on my eating local campaign. Since getting home I haven't managed to get to the farmer's market at the right time to buy something I could actually eat. When I did go once last week, it was at the end of the day, around 5pm, and still 92F out. The vegetables and farmers both were wilted in the sun, not looking their finest. In retrospect I should have bought something just to show respect for their standing out there all day scorching their brains.

So, I looked at this picture of my local omelet from a couple weeks back today to reinspire me. That was a good omelet. Tomorrow I will try again.
