I made the correction. I had even Google searched "conners" and looked at the Wikipedia site for The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill... but failed to notice the spelling.
I guess this lot is a bunch of cherry-headed conner. I had weird dreams about them last night. They were flying at me menacingly, like Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds.
Imagine a recreation of The Birds with a gazillion parrots... twice as scary!!!
