Cute is cute, and love is love;
tears of toaster or chips of a dove.
In self-anointed majesty desire reigns.
I met a raccoon in Riverside Park last night. I wish I could photograph the staging of the four of us at that moment. A latino couple necking by the concrete wall. 15 feet to their left a raccoon stood on the wall and stared at me with a poker face, lovers in the corner of his eye. Myself walking past, with rollerblades in hand, staring back, lovers in the corner of my eye. A couple together, too single animals apart. I'm not sure what it all means, but in the shady evening light, it certainly was visually appealing.
